Creative Spam TechniqueA SPAM e-mail made it through my SPAM filters today and that's a bit on the odd side of things so I took notice. The spammer used a very creative technique to slip the offending word "Viagra" through my filters - ASCII art. Well done. Now put that creative talent to use doing something useful.
Delicious LibraryMAC developers build beautiful software. Delicious Library is another MAC App that proves this point. Use Delicious Library to organize your CD collection, DVD collection, books, games, and more. The feature that caught my attention - you can use the built in camera that comes with most of the new MACs to scan bar codes to simplify the cataloging process - pretty slick. Delicious Library, and beautiful MAC software like it, make me think (occasionally) about buying my 1st MAC. Posted by Cale | Permalink

So far I'm having fun with it. I'll update this post as I go. I use Six Apart's Movable Type product to power this blog. More thoughts on VOX. Blogging is evolving. If you're not an A List blogger the masses aren't going to tune into your blog with any real frequency. It's hard to attract a sizeable audience so regular folks are focusing their conversations on the people they want to talk to and for the masses that's friends and family. More and more private blogs are going private. There are lots of business blogs out there and bloggers blogging for cash or career but private bloggers aren't trying to cast their nets wide anymore - they're dropping individual lines. Products like VOX are going to be very popular because they're giving the new blogger the tools they need to focus the conversation. Go VOX go. |
