February 20, 2008Barack Obama | Change I Can Believe InI'm leaning away from Hillary these days and more towards Obama. Why? He's authentic. Family oriented. I believe him. He represents change "I" can believe in. Clinton, for me, represents more of the same. Another thing Obama has going for him - a great website. I love how it opens with a photograph of the Obama family. The site is well organized, informative, and to the point. IMO - it says a lot about Obama, his style, and how he will run the country. Hillary's website, IMO, is haphazard and less authentic. No picture of the family? What's up with that? I love the video that Obama has running on his site now. This is the speech that got my attention. The one that made me feel there was something that could be different this time.
It makes me feel a little "fool me twice" to say it out loud... but there's no reason I can't keep hoping for change.
I'm on the Obama train. I want him to actually walk the walk. You know?
One of these days it's gonna happen.

I started this election season figuring I'd be happy to vote for either one. I'll still vote for Hillary happily if she's nominated, because she'd be by far the best candidate available; but I indent to vote for Barack in the primaries and I'd rather have him than anybody else. Like you say, believable, and of course he represents change, and things are so bad that change has to be good. Thanks for bringing it up. Tim.
